Uncover the impressive views of Helvellyn, the 3rd highest peak in England - 7 miles away and the surrounding fells. If opting for hiking or biking adventure the choices are endless. A mile away a pub beckons serving local ales. Venture 3 miles to the bustling village of Pooley Bridge, here you find riverside coffee shops, pubs, a restaurant, independent stores, a bookshop and an off license, P.O and Tourist Information. From here you can take in the magnificent scenery from the water when onboard one of Ullswater steamers to Howtown where there is a tea room or further to the lively village of Glenridding which has a sailing centre. For a more leisurely day indulge in a spa day at the local Hotel less than a mile away.

No longer a working farm, 5 of the traditional stone buildings have been lovingly converted into stylish self catering cottages with character and exposed beams providing the perfect spot to savour the surroundings. Designed for comfort and ease of use the cottages offer a one level living experience. The cottages sit privately from each other and all have an enclosed outdoor seating area with furniture and fire bowl. There is ample parking and storage for kayaks and bikes.Less than a 20 minute drive from the M6 makes High House Farm accessible for short breaks or full week holidays.
