No children under 18 years old. . Welcome to Shetland View, a stunning Shepherds Hut, set on the owners farm and nestled in the heart of the hamlet of Henley near Langport. Shetland View enjoys wonderful views over the fields and hills beyond.
Built in 2022, it has an open plan living area with Smart TV and a cosy wood burner – perfect for cooler evenings. The kitchen has a two ring hob, microwave, oven and fridge with freezer box. The shower room has a cubicle shower and heated towel rail for extra comfort. Outside, you have your fabulous garden area with wood fired hot tub, sun loungers, table and chairs, as well as a fire pit. With the dark skies here it really is the perfect spot to lay back, relax and enjoy the peace and tranquility while gazing at the stars.
Guests also have access to an onsite licensed café (open Thurs - Sun, 09h30 - 21h00) as well as the seasonal facilities of the campsite next door, including a small on-site shop and occasional food truck.
There are many walks to be enjoyed directly from Shetland View or head over to Langport, park up the car and walk the Parret Trail along the River Parret and enjoy the local shops and restaurants in Langport. For a dose of ancient history, head to Glastonbury with its Medieval Tor and eclectic mix of shops. For the bargain hunters among you, Clarks Village in Street with its designer outlet is a must do! The beached of Burnham-on-Sea and Weston-super-Mare are within an easy drive away for a dose of traditional seaside fare! Beach 25 miles.
