The medieval village of Dunster is a short drive away, and arriving here is like stepping back in time, with cobbled streets, quirky shops and a great selection of places to eat. Dunster is home to Dunster Castle, Dunster Doll Museum and the West Somerset Steam Railway, a very unique way of seeing the Somerset countryside. Porlock is a must see, the seaside resort of Minehead with its sandy beach is nearby, and a visit to Somerset wouldn’t be complete without exploring the Exmoor National Park.
