Ideally set at the edge of The New Forest National Park and just under 5 miles away from the coast, the garden has direct access onto the Avon Valley Path that stretches from Salisbury to Christchurch. The beautiful riverside town of Christchurch is just a few miles away and is home to a wide variety of independent shops, pubs, eateries and is a wonderful place to wander and explore. A short bus ride or drive away are a selection of beaches. Head to Avon Beach for a pebble beach or to Southbourne for a sandy beach which stretches towards Bournemouth and Sandbanks. You can visit Mudeford Spit and get the boat across to Hengistbury Head Beach, which is home to fantastic beach huts, it is also a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Here you can hire bikes to cycle around and take part in a variety of water sports.
The New Forest National Park, with its free roaming ponies, donkeys, and cattle, has numerous villages and towns within the area with independent shops, cafés, and pubs that are well worth a visit.
