This semi-detached, single-storey converted barn, which has its own enclosed garden, sits in the grounds of the owner’s farm, just outside the village of Stretton. Offering open-plan studio accommodation, this makes an ideal holiday base for couples to explore the many attractions of the surrounding area. For days out, try a visit to Matlock Bath and the Heights of Abraham, 4 miles, or the stately homes of Chatsworth House and Haddon House, both only 8 miles. A little further afield is the spa town of Buxton in the centre of the Peak District National Park, where activities abound, including walking, cycling, climbing, angling or, for the more adventurous, pot-holing or paragliding. Horse riding and golf nearby. Shop ½ mile, pub ¼ mile and restaurant 1½ miles.
There is a fuel supplement of £20 per week and £10 per short break, payable for holidays October - March.
