Stunningly decorated and furnished to a very good standard the open plan living/dining/kitchen area is beautiful with its vaulted ceiling and exposed original beams. The bedroom is just as impressive with its sumptuous bed and bedding which leads on to the modern and contemporary en-suite.
The final piece de resistance is the private and enclosed courtyard with hot tub. Collingwood Cottage is the perfect romantic hideaway.

A trip to the Lake District, Scotland and the Northumbrian coastline are all within easy reach. A fabulous day out iwithin walking distance is Talkin Tarn Country Park with its 65-acre lake and acres of farmland and woodland. You can sail, windsurf, canoe or hire a rowing boat or just take a quiet stroll through the mature woodlands then relax in the tea room with its superb views of the tarn.
