Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The location and the view is lovely. The cabin was easy to heat which was a relief on cold winter stay. Very peaceful location and beautiful views of the night stars. Cabin reasonably well equipped.

Negative: Difficult to find at night from the access road, needs better and clearer signage. The hot tub has a pump cycle which rotates every 15-20 minutes or so when not in use and was extremely noisy. Two disturbed nights with not much sleep and no obvious way to stop the pump cycle. I think compacted by the fact that the location is otherwise so peaceful and tranquil. It might be the first time I’ve ever reported that a house would be better without a hot tub! The water pressure in the shower is very poor but to be expected for building type. Beds, bedding and bed linen were acceptable but not amazing. There is no WiFi here and poor phone signal - though I carry mobile WiFi with me, so wasn’t an issue but it’s something I mention only because it might be important to other guests.

Summary: Lovely Tranquil Location Would Improve Greatly By Removing Hot Tub and Upgrade Bedding.
