Most of the ground floor is given over to a fabulous open-plan living space, where two sets of former stable doors allow natural light to flood in. The kitchen area features oak cabinets and built-in appliances, with a small utility room adjacent that houses laundry facilities. A pine dining table and chairs complement the comfortable seating that’s gathered around a flame-effect electric stove and a Smart TV/DVD. On this floor there’s also a family bathroom with a shower over the bath and a WC. The two bedrooms, a double and a twin, are both on the first floor. They feature beamed, sloping ceilings and country-style wooden furniture, and the twin bedroom has a glazed door to the original exterior stone steps. The cottage benefits from extensive, shared gardens which have stunning views; make the most of them by grilling something delicious on the BBQ and dining at the picnic benches. Secure storage for your bikes is also available.
The property is 1 mile from the market town of Llanrwst, where there’s a good choice of shops and places to eat and drink. Many of the attractions of Snowdonia are nearby, with walking and mountain biking on your doorstep, and picturesque Betws-y-Coed, renowned as the activity capital of Snowdonia, just 3.5 miles away.
