Being all on one level, guests will find the ground floor wing of the old village school easy to navigate; it has two double bedrooms. The living room has two front windows looking up to Pen Hill. The area is perfect for walkers, ramblers, nature lovers and cyclists, and there are numerous walks that lead directly from the village and out through some of the most magnificent countryside that the county has to offer, passing through many of the traditional Dales villages such as West Burton and Aysgarth. West Witton itself is home to The Wensleydale Heifer. This multi award-winning gastro pub is perfect for a meal to celebrate that special occasion, be it a birthday or anniversary. There is also a friendly local pub and a shop selling freshly baked pies and cakes in the village. A little further afield yet still only a short drive are the magnificent Aysgarth Falls, Castle Bolton, Constable Burton Hall and Gardens and Hawes.
