Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The apartment was neat, tidy and well laid out, and it was quiet and a decent size. It was nice to have our own separate entrance door and staircase to the apartment, as this isn't always the case with city apartments, it's about a 24 minute drive to Etihad stadium if going for an event like we did.

Negative: The curtains were very thin so didn't block out any light The sofas had brown marks/discolouration patches from wear, which didn't look the best, a professional clean would help. Someone (I presume one of the owners/caretakers), tried to forcibly get in the front door at 10.07am on the morning of checkout, but the checkout time wasn't until 11am, thankfully we had the additional plastic covered security door locks on from inside, so they weren't able to get in, but when I questioned what the lady was doing and told her that checkout wasn't until 11am, the lady said "ow, I thought you left at 6am", I never once said I was leaving at 6am, so I don't where she got that from. It has a smart door handle lock where you type in a code on the handle to enter (which apparently changes for each new person, but this was also how the person who tried to forcibly enter managed to unlock the door, thank god for me using the additional security locks when we were in) although there is a parking space at the front there is no dropped kerb so didnt use it, as can be parked over plus would possibly do damage to the car if I did (which the owner did state when we received arrival info) there is separate parking for all in the corner of the street behind the houses, but I chose to park up the kerb outside as was easier for unloading and loading the car, plus it was in view then.

Summary: On the whole a good stay and ideal for what we needed.
