The unforgettable Chatsworth House and Farmshop (16 miles), Hardwick Hall (23 miles) and Kedleston Hall (12 miles) are great for days out, as are pretty towns and villages such as Matlock Bath (8.5 miles), Ashbourne (5 miles), Buxton (18.5 miles), and Bakewell (14 miles) all of which boast an array of independent shops and restaurants. Don’t forget to stop for a Bakewell pudding.
