Within walking distance in the village of Endmoor are a children’s playground, tennis courts and crown bowling green. A 6-mile drive finds you in the popular Cumbrian town of Kendal, also known as the gateway to the Lakes, has a super selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Its cobbled streets are dotted with cafés for al fresco dining or afternoon tea. Just another short drive and you are at Lake Windermere in the Lake District National Park, or in the opposite direction is the unspoilt Eden Valley. Why not journey a little over to the East to the breath taking Yorkshire Dales, for example visit Ingleton caves, or Malham cove (Harry Potter scenes filmed here). Other places nearby worth visiting include Arnside, Morecambe Bay and Kirkby Lonsdale.
