Enjoy a day out in the riverside marine town of Dartmouth, and take a cruise along the river to Totnes or the ferry across to Kingswear and the quaint fishing town of Brixham, then ride on the steam train to Paignton or Buckfastleigh.
Within easy reach are the English Riviera resorts of Paignton and Torquay, the boating and sailing centre of Salcombe on the estuary, and the historic town of Dartmouth, nestling on the banks of the River Dart.
