Avalon is a charming pine lodge, set in the grounds of Killigarth Manor Holiday Park, close to Polperro, a beautiful fishing port, steeped in history and tales of smuggling. You can follow a path from Avalon, leading you all the way to this lovely village, with characterful cottages and narrow streets.
Once inside your holiday lodge, the décor is both relaxing and welcoming, an open plan living space with comfortable sofas and electric wood burner style fire lead left to a dining area with ample space for six guests and very well-equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms here, two inviting double rooms and a twin; all thoughtfully furnished by the owner and designed to make your stay restful. There are two bathrooms, both with shower cubicles. The front garden has superb iron table and chairs, where morning coffee or perhaps a favourite beverage can be enjoyed as the sun departs for the day...and you look forward to tomorrow! Another private space can be found at the rear of Avalon with a wooden bench, offering additional peace and quiet. There are two private car park spaces to the front of the property whilst there are superb facilities on the park to be enjoyed, including a heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and gym, lots of green open spaces and play areas for children (of all ages!)
Venture outside the park and visit Talland Bay, a quiet beach with rockpools and coves within a small valley, or the bustling harbour town of Looe, with restaurants, pubs and shops. Take the train from here to the bustling market town of Liskeard and marvel at the breath-taking scenery along your journey or take a cliff top walk and look far out across the ocean beyond.
