Abbey Garden is part of the original church building within the grounds of the former Fort Augustus Abbey, which has been sensitively renovated to include original features such as the stone pillars which can be admired throughout the property. The living area incorporates stylish wood flooring, set off beautifully by the oak dining table. To the rear of this large open plan area is a stylish kitchen with granite worktops and fully fitted with a dishwasher, washer/dryer as well as a full complement of high-quality kitchen equipment. Outside, you have access to a lovely south facing garden with external access from all the rooms in this apartment. This fantastic space offers a real sense of privacy with a barbecue and garden furniture so you can enjoy a spot of al fresco dining when the fancy takes you. Within the living area you can enjoy comfortable seating, a Flatscreen TV and a bluetooth speaker. The large master bedroom boasts high end furnishings throughout, and an en-suite with a bath and a separate power shower. This bustling Highland village has shops, restaurants, bars, and boat trips. Inverness and Fort William are both just a 45-minute drive away. The Isle of Skye is just over an hour’s drive and one of the most beautiful roads in Scotland taking you through the Kintail mountain range. On route, Eileen Donan Castle, which is worth a visit, as is the beautiful coastal village Plockton. You’ll be spoilt for choice for activities on your doorstep including fishing, walking, climbing, pony trekking, golf and so much more.
