Thimble Cottage is right in the centre of St Mawes and has retained some beautiful character features and clever design touches. The house is tucked in behind the newly renovated Idle Rocks Hotel, a mere 100 metres away from the harbour and quay area with its shops, pubs and waterfront and within easy reach of the beaches. It is ideally placed for those who want to be in the centre of St Mawes. There are great views down over Summers Beach yet the cottage retains its privacy as it is set back from the road.

The cottage provides accommodation for up to 4 people. The ground floor is divided into an open plan living room, with multi fuel stove, and dining room, separated by the staircase to the first floor with a small but excellently equipped kitchen. The bedrooms on the first floor look down over the stunning crystal clear waters of St Mawes Bay and both of them benefit from ensuite shower rooms. There is a small terraced area to the front of the property.

First Floor: Double bedroom with 5' bed, sea views and en suite shower room, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail. Twin bedroom with sea views and en suite shower room, hand basin, WC and heated towel rail.
Exterior: Small terrace to the front of the property with a table and chairs.

Facilities & Services
Heating is via electric and night storage heating radiators throughout. There is a flatscreen smart TV with freeview and DVD player in the lounge. Bose music system and DAB radio. The fully fitted kitchen includes an electric oven and induction hob, fridge, slimline dishwasher, microwave, kettle and toaster. There is also a small freezer in the cupboard under the stairs. There is a combined washing machine/dryer. There is an iron and ironing board.

Miscellaneous
Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, but you will need to bring your own beach towels. There is no parking at the property, although you can stop in the road close by to unload and load your car. Car parking is available in the safe, nearby main car park which is only about a 2 minute walk away. Weekly tickets may be purchased from the tourist information centre which is located at the bottom of the car park. Alternative car parking is also available on the quay and on the sea front during the winter months. Children are very welcome and a travel cot & high chair are provided on request. We regret that dogs are not permitted and no smoking is allowed. WiFi is available.
