Brynawel is a traditional 2 bed cottage, newly renovated to provide a lovely light and cosy place to stay with plenty of character and all mod cons plus views of the river teifi. Situated in the popular village of St Dogmaels, its just a mile from Poppit beach and the market town of Cardigan and within easy access to many more beaches, family attractions, historic sites and at the start/end of the famous Pembrokeshire coast path.
Walking distance to all village amenities, inlcuding several pubs/restaurants, a weekly farmers market, village shop, post office and chip shop. Within the village you will also find the ruins of the ancient abbey with a lovely cafe and visitor centre, a working water mill, play park, village green and river access plus a pontoon for launching your boat and a popular spot for crabbing. There are numerous beautiful footpath walks in and around the village also taking advantage of the stunning views along the river and beyond.
The cottage has a bright and light well equipped open plan living/kitchen area with wood burning stove. There are two bedrooms, one twin/king and one double with an ensuite bathroom off each ( including heated floors, bath and shower). There is also an extra room off the double with a sofa bed, this is a great room for sitting and enjoying the view and can also sleep an extra two.
Outside there is off street parking and seating areas at the front and rear, both taking advantage of the view and all day sun.
We have taken great care in restoring Brynawel to make it a beautiful and comfortable place to stay and enjoy our lovely part of the world, we've tried to think of everything and included a few extras so all you have to do is bring yourselves, food and drink and enjoy. All are welcome inlcluding pets.
