Summary: Nearest shop I found was the Co-op in Kegworth. Room was clean and fine, but there was no info, eg that there's an alarm which goes off if you don't latch the kitchen door, who to contact and how I'm case of need. Prior to arrival, a map of the site showing checkin location would be useful. I booked with hotels.com. I was disconcerted to receive repeated, unexpected, curious-looking emails and phone messages threatening to cancel my booking if I didn't send my government id and a selfie to what looked like an unrelated url. These continued despite having an email from the property confirming my stay. It meant that on my journey felt apprehensive as I didn't know if I would or wouldn't have a booking on arrival.
