Quarry Cottage is a simple, cosy cottage on three levels in a quiet road, just two minutes stroll from the pub, shops and quay in Flushing. A lovely home for couples or a small family. Step in to the entrance porch then through to the open-plan living-dining room and kitchen area which has a Smart TV, wood burner and door to the courtyard. Head upstairs to the first floor and two bedrooms, a double and a single and the family shower room. Then up to the top floor and a spacious twin bedroom (no door) with sloping ceiling and light streaming in from dual-aspect windows, two wicker chairs and Smart TV. The courtyard has garden furniture and is a tranquil enclosed space for alfresco dining. Quarry cottage is simply presented without frills and has been enjoyed by its owners for many years as a relaxing seaside retreat. A handy base for sailing, coastal walking and enjoying many local events and regattas. The nautical town of Falmouth is nearby with its excellent maritime museum.
Falmouth, with its magnificent natural harbour (the third largest in the world), winding streets and beaches, will keep you occupied for hours. The town's old harbourside pubs, excellent shopping, art gallery and stunning National Maritime Museum simply complete the picture.
