For guests who enjoy the outdoors or are in need of a good dog-walk, we recommend heading up Brantfell either in the morning to catch the sun rise over the east, or watch the sunset over Claife Heights to the west in the evening. Brantfell is a fairly short walk right from the doorstep but provides some of the best views of Lake Windermere and the rest of the Lake Disrict's famous mountains.
