The Space:
Admire the light and modern spec as you enter the apartment into an open plan lounge and kitchen, from the main building's entrance hallway.
Relax in the naturally light lounge area, as you rest and recuperate with a warm cup of tea watching tv or admiring the views of Swanage Bay, from the comfort of the corner sofa. The sofa also converts to a second small double bed, ideal for children or teens.
This open plan space offers a dining table and fully equipped kitchen with a host of integrated appliances and cooking utensils and dinnerware.
The spacious bedroom offers a king bed with wall mounted tv for streaming, a built-in wardrobe, and traditional authentic Purbeck stone fireplace nook, which has been modified to house a dressing table with lighting. Complete with individual reading lights besides the bed, with bespoke recess storage and usb sockets for charging phones.
Completing the interior of the main bedroom is a smart ensuite shower room with toilet, basin and quadrant shower.
The outside area includes tables and chairs, providing a space to relax and unwind at the front of the house.

The Neighborhood:
The quintessentially British seaside town of Swanage is a delight, with its sandy beach being one of Dorset County’s biggest attractions. The beach is a popular destination for generations of families returning every year, and for good reason. There's clean Blue Flag awarded waters, a Victorian promenade, amazing facilities for hire (including deck chairs, pedaloes, kayaks, sun beds, and even beach huts) in addition to practical amenities such as lifeguard patrols, showers and toilets — making this beach almost unbeatable.
Swanage Town is full of local charm and attractive architecture, and makes a wonderful base to explore Dorset’s other natural wonders and places of interest too. There’s a host of high street gift shops, clothing stores, grocery shops, cafés, ice cream parlours, and fish & chip takeaways — all of which are in addition to an array of pubs, bars and restaurants, accessible on foot from the cottage.
There’s always lots to do in the water, with paddleboarding, diving excursions, sailing, water-skiing, and windsurfing to name a few. Whilst on the promenade you can find amusements, arcades, mini golf and other fun activities for little ones.
Dorset is blessed with some of the UK’s most interesting coastal areas, including glorious sandy bays such as Swanage and Studland; and many rugged, wild and rocky shores too. To the south of Swanage is Durlston Country Park, a nature reserve renowned for being the gateway to the Jurassic Coast and World Heritage Coastline which runs west — including the famous Kimmeridge, Ludworth Cove, Man O’War and Durdle Door beaches, as well as the South West Coastal Path walking trail, and numerous climbing spots.
Getting Around:
The town and beach is a short stroll downhill from the apartment, in around 5—10 mins' walk. The road back up to the apartment is steep, so may not suit those with mobility concerns on foot.
Other Things to Note:
Please note: although we note this apartment can sleep up to four people, there is only one bedroom, and the only bathroom in the apartment is an ensuite within this bedroom. Therefore, with four people staying, it would primarily only suit families, as bathroom access for those staying on the sofa bed in the lounge, is through the main bedroom only.
Please note: even tough the apartment is on one-level, there are steps leading up to the main door of the building from the street. There is also a steep hill to walk up from the town centre and/or beach area.
