With origins dating back to the 16th century, St Michael’s House is a grand and characterful country retreat, offering generous accommodation for up to 11 guests across six bedrooms - perfect for family gatherings and group escapes.
At the heart of the house is the spacious country kitchen diner, where an extendable table comfortably seats the whole group. A large range cooker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and blender provide all the modern conveniences, while a wood burner creates a wonderfully cosy atmosphere on winter evenings. Families can also make use of the high chair.
Elsewhere downstairs, multiple living areas offer plenty of room to spread out and relax, with a smart TV and light-filled conservatory overlooking the grounds.
Four bedrooms occupy the first floor, comprising two king rooms, a twin and a single with a cot. One king benefits from an ensuite bathroom, while the remaining rooms share a family bathroom with a bath and overhead shower. Two further twin bedrooms are located on the second floor, alongside a third bathroom. There is also a single futon in this room that is best suited to children. This can be made up by request only.
