Hafan Bach, do friendly holiday cottage is in the historic township of Kidwelly, Carmarthenshire, half way between Llanelli and Carmarthen and just 10 mins from Pembrey country park and Cefn Sidan beach.
Kidwelly is a small, friendly town, (more of a large village feel) there are several shops including a good size co-op which is just 5 mins walk from the cottage. There are 3 dog friendly cafes in easy walking distance and also a selection of take aways, post office, and pharmacist and of course not forgetting the 900 year old Castle.
The beach & Pembrey country park are a 10 min car drive away as are Ffos las racecourse, Pembrey motor circuit & Glyn Abbey golf course.
The historic Market town of Carmarthen is about 20 mins away by car or you can catch the train or bus.
Hafan Bach is a 3 bedroom terrace cottage with open plan kitchen diner and cosy lounge. Many guests first comment is that the cottage is much larger than expected.
The kitchen is well equipped with fridge freezer, dishwasher, double range cooker, microwave, toaster etc, we also provide basic store cupboard items. Please feel free to contact us to check we have what you may need.
There is a farmhouse style dining table with seating for 5, French doors from the dining area open out onto a beautiful, enclosed, dog friendly garden.
There is also an outside seating area and undercover gas BBQ area.
Downstairs is a large bathroom with bath and shower over.
There is a small utility room with washing machine, this is also where you will find the ironing board and iron as well as vacuum and broom.
The living room has 2 leather sofas, nest of tables, welsh dresser with a selection of games, smart TV and DVD player with selection of DVDs and a wood burner effect electric fire.
Upstairs there are 3 good sized bedroom and a bathroom with shower.
The master bedroom has views over the garden, king size bed, TV, bedside drawers with lamps, large chest of drawers, and wardrobe and chair. Travel cot available if required.
The second bedroom has view of the castle, double bed, bedside tables and lamps, chest of drawers, hanging rail, rocking chair and TV.
The 3rd bedroom also has castle view, single bed, bedside drawers and lamp, chest of drawers and chair.
We have aimed to include everything guests need to have a comfortable and relaxing break.
We welcome dogs as part of the family, we provide throws for the furniture, water bowls and doggy towels.
