This lovely old stone-built cottage is located at the base of Frostrow Fell with its own private access. It is located just 1.5 miles from the town of Sedbergh. The cottage sleeps four people in two bedrooms and has one double and one twin bedroom. It has a kitchen with dining area and a sitting room with wood burning stove, access upstairs is via a stone winding staircase. Off road parking and a dedicated private garden with stone flagged patio is available outside.
Situated to the south of the town, with its raised elevation the Cottage enjoys uninterrupted views of the Howgill fells and the town and is a perfect base for exploring this lovely part of the country. Access is via a narrow lane and long private driveway providing perhaps one of the quietest and secluded spots in the area. The property is situated within our own farm land and is located 1/2 a mile from the nearest highway.
Amenities: Oil fired central heating with additional electric underfloor heating downstairs and woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron and Smart TV with Freeview & radio, fast fibre broadband. Fuel and power included. Please note: while we are happy to accept well behaved children, it’s worth remembering that the cottage’s strong points are the remote location and quiet surroundings. It’s therefore maybe not the ideal location for the younger child. Thanks for your understanding.
