Pendle Hill, Stonyhurst, Marles Wood to Dinckley Bridge, Longridge Fell, Three Rivers, Dunsop Bridge and The Tolkien Trail are a just few of the many walks nearby.
For days out by car, The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and the seaside are all less than an hour away.
We are perfectly situated for guests coming further afield as we’re close to Junction 31 of the M6 with very good transport links. Preston is a 30 min drive away where direct trains go to London (2 hrs), to Glasgow (2 hrs) and to Edinburgh (2 hrs 30 mins). Described as Lancashire and Yorkshire’s hub into and out of the North, Manchester and Leeds are approx 1 hr drive away and both cities have international airports.
