ï»¿If you are looking for a cosy holiday home in the countryside, this holiday home is Koekelare is ideal. It features beautiful surroundings and there are 3 bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate the whole family.
The house is located in green, quiet and child-friendly surroundings, about 3 km from the supermarket. It is an excellent base for excursions to Koekelare (Houtland) and Diksmuide (Westhoek). A bakery-patisserie and a butcher's shop can be found within walking distance (centre of De Mokker).
The current owner wanted to preserve and revive the accommodation, which used to belong to her great-grandparents, by thoroughly renovating it. At the front of the house you have a beautiful view of the wide fields and you can enjoy a beautiful sunset in the evening when the weather is nice. Children can have fun in the beautiful front playground with large and small trampoline, a slide, a large sandpit and swings. Moreover, a baby cot is available for the smallest holidaymakers.
There is parking space for 3 cars.

Summary: We had a fantastic week. The host went out of her way to make everything great for us; she even cooked our garlic bread for us. The entertainment for the children was brilliant and they were never bored! She also gave lots of ideas of places to visit. The setting was also amazing … quiet countryside with beautiful views, but with supermarkets a 5 minute drive away.
