Summary: This is an absolute gem of a hotel and in an absolutely prime position from which to explore Stratford. We were in the town to go to the theatre and the hotel is literally five minutes away, which is a huge bonus. We were offered the opportunity to choose a room in advance in either the historic or more modern part of the building but as we weren't really bothered we left it to chance. We were in the newest part which was absolutely lovely. Beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The only missing thing was a few of the little extras like a shower cap which would have been very useful. Breakfast was a continental buffet with hot choices served directly. Again couldn't fault the standard. Exceptional staff throughout the hotel - a really great choice and somewhere we'd most definitely rebook.
