Positive: Our stay at Howgills House in Sedbergh exceeded all expectations. The property offers a perfect blend of privacy and luxury, despite its proximity to a road. The hot tubs were an absolute delight, both overlooking peaceful green spaces, which made for the perfect spot to relax after a day of hiking in the Lake District. The house itself is impeccably clean and well-maintained, with an exclusive feel that really enhanced our stay. The kitchen, with its commercial-style setup, was more than sufficient for our group. The host was incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also convenient, with a Spar supermarket just a 5-minute drive away, and a Lidl in Kendal about 25 minutes away for larger shops. We used Howgills House as a base for hiking in the Lake District, and it couldn’t have been better situated. The peaceful surroundings made it an ideal retreat after exploring the stunning countryside. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for more and are already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a luxurious yet homely stay in a beautiful location!
