Slightly further afield (within 20 miles) is National Trust Mwnt Beach, Llangrannog with its beachfront pub, ice-cream parlour and cafes, and cardigan bay, ideal for kayaking. The Celtic Trail passes through Tegryn, so whether you want to make this your base for a cycling holiday, or simply stay for a night en route to your next destination, it is perfectly located, with safe and secure space to look after bikes and equipment. Further afield you can visit the ever-popular Cathedral city of St Davids (35.8 miles), take a day trip to Tenby (25.3 miles) or marvel at the Puffins and world-famous birdlife on Skomer Island.
