Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: It is on a quiet road with easy access to Green spaces and the coast road. The beds were comfortable and clean. The space was clean although there was a strong small of Febreeze type cleaning materials. The staff we dealt with were very good, listened to most of our concerns and have promised to deal with most of the issues we raised.

Negative: It looked scruffy from the outside with a blown front window, a front door which hadn't seen paint in a long time and very overgrown front garden and back yard. The kitchen advertised that you would be able to cook a meal but the equipment was very limited and there were only 2 desert spoons, and 2 teaspoons for a flat which was for 5 people. There was a step from the kitchen area into the lounge which wasn't mentioned on the information and caused my 87 and 88 year old parents, with new hips, a great deal of anxiety incase they tripped or fell. There had been a problem with the previous tenants which meant there was an issue with the key code box and neither code which had been given to us worked. It was also not clear which key box of the two we were to use. We didn't have use of a parking permit because of the previous tenants which having elderly parents wasn't at all ideal. The fridge freezer was damaged inside to the point of being unhygienic. There was a flashing light in the kitchen. There were no TV instructions and no channel seemed to be tuned in.
