There are two separate lounges, giving guests a choice of cosy spaces to unwind. The Green Room has a traditional open fire, while the second lounge has a wood-burning stove, making the house particularly inviting during autumn and winter stays.
At the heart of the house is the large, characterful kitchen with an Aga and plenty of space for preparing meals and spending time together.
The games barn
The separate games barn is one of the highlights of the property and a real favourite with guests. It has a full-size pool table, dartboard, bar, TV and comfortable seating, providing a fantastic additional space for groups to spend time together.
Bi-fold doors open directly onto the garden, making the barn a great space throughout the year.
Above the main games area is a mezzanine snug, particularly popular with older children and teenagers. Oversized floor cushions create a relaxed space to stretch out, chat, watch TV or enjoy some time away from the main living areas.
