Portloe is the quintessential sleepy fishing village that has been featured in many a television series including the series by Rosamunde Pilcher and The Camomile Lawn. Farm Cottage was originally the village Farm House and having been subjected to major renovation is warm and comfortable yet stylish and light filled with many paintings and works by local artists.
