This wonderful flat sits right in the heart of Peckham, one of London’s most charismatic and iconic towns. It is within 10 minutes walking distance of Peckham High street - full of bustling shops and cafes - and 15 minutes from Peckham Rye Station. It has 2 bedrooms, 1 main bathroom, a kitchen and living area featuring a sofa bed. For up to 5 guests, this is the perfect base whilst you explore what London has to offer! The Space: Sitting off a main road in central Peckham, you will find this lovely flat a quiet place to retreat from the city life. The whole flat is on one level on the top floor of a London townhouse. The single bedroom and the living area are at the front of the flat, with views of the high-street below. The double bedroom is towards the rear of the flat along with the kitchen and bathroom, with views of the neighboring garden below. This property is currently on the market, and occasionally, I might show people around for viewings. I will always let you know, and this should not impact your stay! LIVING AREA / KITCHEN / DINING AREA The living and dining area is the largest room in the flat, with lovely high ceilings creating a spacious and airy feel to the room. The sofa sits to one side of the room accompanied by soft, velvet cushions making it extra comfortable for guests to relax. The sofa folds out into a double sofa bed - please do let me know if you wish for this to be prepared for your stay. A black wooden dining table sits across the room where all guests can sit together to enjoy meals. In the kitchen you will find all the appliances you could possibly need to create a delicious meal for your guests. It is equipped with an oven, microwave, refrigerator, cookware and dining ware. There is also a washing machine which you are welcome to use during your stay. BEDROOMS In the single bedroom there is a window with a view of the street below, with a pull down blind for you to adjust. It features a wardrobe with hangers for you to store your belongings during your stay. The double bedroom is a slightly larger room, with decorative art on the wall and a pretty, white iron bed frame. This room features a double wardrobe with space for you to store clothes. All beds are prepared with fresh, white hotel style linen. BATHROOMS The bathroom is spacious and very bright, sitting next to the entrance of the flat. It has a long bathtub with a shower attachment, and a toilet and basin. Large fluffy white towels and toiletries will be provided for every guest. Guest Access: Guests have complete access to the flat. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in. Interaction with Guests: When I’m not there, you will be hosted by a professional hospitality company who I’ve engaged to look after you in my absence. They are on call to attend to your every need, as I would be. The Neighborhood: This flat sits in a quiet, residential area of Peckham that is just 10 minutes walking distance from the main High Street. Peckham is known for its classic British hospitality, and famous for being the stage home of the hit show “Only Fools and Horses”. It has a wide selection of places to eat that are under 20 minutes walking distance, including the “Coal Rooms” which serve a phenomenal English roast dinner! Many supermarkets are nearby if you wish to pick up any groceries - the nearest shop being Tesco Express, a 5 minute walk away from the flat. Getting Around: The two nearest train stations are Peckham Rye (Overground & National Rail), and Queenstown Road (SouthEastern Railway). Both stations are within 15 minutes walk from the flat, and have great access into the city. You can take the train from Peckham Rye to Elephant & Castle, and get the Bakerloo Line or Northern Line going straight into the heart of London. There is a bus stop directly across the road from the property, heading further into Peckham Town and across the East of London.
