Summary: This was my fourth stay at the Norton Grange and although I enjoyed it, i definitely felt the difference in quality between the standard and privilege room I usually get. This room was much smaller. It also hadn’t been cleaned properly (there was an empty beer bottle by the side of one of the tatty armchairs) and one of the bedside lights didn’t work. The bathroom was ok but there was rotten wood at the bottom of the door and the whole room just needed freshening up. There was an adjoining room with a door and the walls are paper thin. My neighbours were very noisy. I ate in the restaurant as I usually do and I had the chicken, bacon and cheese sandwich and the bacon was almost raw and mostly fat. There was just something ‘off’ about the whole experience this time unfortunately.
