Our wildly romantic retreat on the edge of its own woodlands is the perfect solace. This one bedroom stylishly converted crofter’s bothy wraps you into its embrace and promises the perfect haven.
The pretty blue painted wooden stable door leads from the lobby into the cosy living room with its full height ceilings. A fireside seat by the huge original stone fireplace is perfect for a snooze with a book…The comfortable squashy sofa, additional green fabric armchair and snazzy rug add to its enchantment. A contemporary shaker style kitchen with sage green units and granite work surface has everything that you could possibly need to make cooking a joy – peep across the gardens and perhaps catch a glimpse of a red squirrel. Smart metal casement windows flood the house with light. The smartest of bedrooms has a king size bed and pretty occasional furniture whilst the contemporary en-suite bathroom has an iron bath with shower over. Fine thread Egyptian cotton bedding, organic toiletries and the fluffiest of towels add to the comfort.
To the front of Garth Yr Hebog is a spacious stone terrace with stylish garden furniture – this is where you will spend much of your time whilst staying with us in the summer. The silence is intoxicating. Grassy gardens to the front and rear of the cottage are lovingly tended by our gardener and change throughout the seasons.
You will feel very peaceful here but with sandy beaches and woodlands walks on the doorstep and the glory of Snowdonia close by, you won’t have to venture too far to enjoy the very best that this wonderfully unspoiled area has to offer…..and then it’s back to the comfort of Garth Yr Hebog and its irresistible charm.
