Uniquely positioned to offer private access to the River Coquet where salmon and trout fishing can be available to guests, this cosy stone cottage has been sympathetically reconfigured internally to incoporate a large family bathroom which contains a top-of-the-range roll-top bath, double shower and sink. The existing bathroom has been refurbished to include a laminate floor and has been completely re-tiled. The accommodation is immaculately presented and has the convenience of being all at ground floor level. The spacious living room has a dining table and lovely arched windows where the extensive landscaped grounds can be admired, or take a gentle stroll to the riverbank and watch the Coquet ebb and flow.
Owl Cottage sits on the end of a tiny cluster with three other holiday cottages at High Weldon, only 9 miles north of Morpeth where there is an abundance of good restaurants, shops and inns available.
