An exquisite new addition to our Cottage Collection, Park Lodge offers elegant accommodation for up to eight guests across four generously proportioned bedrooms. Three of the rooms feature sumptuous super king-size beds that can be configured as twins upon request, while the fourth is appointed with a luxurious king size bed—making the lodge perfectly suited for families or groups seeking flexibility and space. Each bed is fitted with a premium Hypnos Cashmere mattress, renowned for its exceptional comfort and craftsmanship.
Set within its own grounds and completely detached, Park Lodge offers a serene retreat in the heart of the Dorset countryside. Thoughtfully furnished with indulgent touches, each bedroom is equipped with goose down and microfibre pillows, crisp white Egyptian cotton linens, fluffy towels, and a soft cotton robe for each guest’s comfort.
Inside, guests can relax in the warm embrace of the hunting lodge-style sitting and dining areas, each centred around a substantial log burner, nestled in a characterful original fireplace. Outside, the surrounding garden provides a peaceful setting for soaking up the fresh country air, while a private rear terrace—complete with ample seating—sets the scene for alfresco dining or simply unwinding under the open sky.
The country-style kitchen is exceptionally well-appointed, featuring a large electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, and American-style fridge-freezer. An adjoining walk-in pantry offers extra storage and includes an additional fridge—ideal for keeping drinks chilled. A separate utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer for added convenience. A spacious WC is located on the ground floor.
Each bathroom is stocked with our signature fragranced toiletries; Lulworth body wash, hand soap, and shampoo, which can be purchased at our Lulworth Cove Gift Shop. Central heating and Wi-Fi are provided throughout the property. Please note that mobile signal may be limited, so we recommend enabling ‘Wi-Fi calling’ on your mobile.
Just a short stroll through the beautiful castle grounds is The Weld Arms Pub & Kitchen, where you’ll find delicious locally sourced fare. Park Lodge is situated close to the area of the Lulworth Ranges, where military training and live firing may be heard dependent on wind direction. Please be aware that over the last weekend in July each year, Camp Bestival takes place at Lulworth Castle. During the weeks around the festival, please note that the Castle Grounds will be closed to the public, and there will be some road traffic diversions in place in the local area. Please expect heavy traffic the immediate vicinity over the festival itself, and an increase in festival production vehicles for an extended period before and after the weekend.
Lulworth Castle, parklands and walks will be closed from Friday 17th July to Saturday 8th August 2026 inlusive.
