Positive: Location is absolutely incredible, beautiful views, very quiet. The cottage is well set up and well equipped. Internet is good and TV set up means you can easily log into your subscriptions. Patio is lovely, shame we didn't have the weather to sit out much! Great views of some aeroplanes on the mach loop. Easy to drive into Machynlleth and surrounding areas.

Negative: Parking is a bit tricky , you can't really park anywhere without annoying someone, path to the cottage is also hard to find. You need to go down the small side road next to the shop opposite the pub (maybe the owners could add better directions to the booking system). The shop put a mildly passive aggressive note in the window to not park outside if you are staying in a holiday let. Getting to the cottage isn't ideal if you have any mobility issues too. As others have said, cottage would benefit from a deep clean - lots of dust and cobwebs and the windows need cleaning too. The downstairs bedroom smells a little damp but it does improve with the window open and heating on. The bed is also very creaky - we probably should have slept in the upstairs bedroom! Just a few tweaks would make this cottage amazing!!
