The day asks little — coffee in the garden with the birds, a walk on the estate, a long bath, a supper over the barbecue as the light goes. The estate’s woodland sauna and cold shower are close when you want the contrast ritual. Historic Beaumaris and its medieval castle are a short drive, and RIB trips run from the Menai Strait to Puffin Island for seals and seabirds. Across the bridge, Eryri (Snowdonia) opens up.
