3 Bedroom House in Brighton
Relax in our beautiful, updated Edwardian 3 bedroom house with large kitchen diner and double living room. This is more homely than show-home: a place to relax after enjoying the delights of Brighton including one of the many festivals throughout the year, the beach, shopping, long walks or after sampling Brighton's fab eateries.
Very suitable for family groups given its layout. We have 2 light and airy double rooms (one with a king size bed, the other a double Ikea bed). Our 3rd bedroom has 2 single beds, one of which is a raised cabin bed. On the same floor we have a lovely bathroom with an unusual exposed brick wall to add a bit of extra character. Our room layout means that 2 small families (4 adults, 2 kids + 1 baby in travel cot) could stay comfortably.
On the ground floor we have a large kitchen-diner fully-equipped with washing machine and dishwasher so you don't have to worry about washing up! Our large double lounge is spacious and comfy, decorated with ornaments from our travels. There is one massive 4-seater sofa, a small 2-seater sofa and an Ikea pouang chair, Virgin TV, DVD player, wood burner and kids games. There is also a piano and a guitar for the musically inclined. We have a WC on the ground floor giving you two toilets in the house - handy for families and groups of friends. We are happy for families with infants to stay but be aware that we do not have stair gates. There is room in all the double rooms for a travel cot. Our garden is green and small but big enough to eat al-fresco and enjoy the beautiful Brighton sunsets.
You will have access to the whole house providing you with a home away from home. There are books to read, games and toys to play with for families, and a piano. There is Virgin TV, Wifi and a DVD player (with a large selection of DVDs). Our kitchen comes fully-equipped and you will have access to all our kitchenware.
There is a beautiful park nearby, the seafront is at the bottom of the road and the South Downs at the top, giving you lots of options for walks. We will not be in the house during your stay but will be fully contactable. A welcome pack will be provided with a comprehensive guide to our house, appliances and emergency contact details.
Please do remember that this is our much-loved family home, so we ask you to treat it and our possessions with respect. We'd like you to feel at ease and hope that our home will allow you do this. Strictly no shoes upstairs.
Remember that this is a residential area so please keep the noise down after 11pm. This is not a house for partying.
