Coed y Brenin Forest just around 1.5mi from your front door where you can take a woodland walk to Rhaeadr Mawddach and Pistyll Gain waterfalls or cycle down some exciting mountain biking routes. The nearby towns of Dolgellau and Blaenau Ffestiniog boats independent shops and eateries as well as numerous local activities such as Ffestiniog Railway, cycling at Antur Stiniog (14 mi) and adventure at Zip World Slate Caverns (15 mi). The beaches of Abermaw and Fairbourne are around 15 miles from the cottage as well as the coastal fortress of Harlech Castle.
