St Issey
St Issey can be considered a rural getaway that allows you to relax in peace without the hustle and bustle of the city. Located in Cornwall just south of Padstow, the population of the hamlet was around 900 at the latest census, giving you an idea of its secluded nature.
As much as it's good to be on your own and enjoy the peace and quiet, there’s the town of Padstow just 2 miles down the road making it walkable or, if you’d prefer, a short drive.
St Issey does have a local pub called the Ring O’ Bells Inn and is popular with locals and visitors alike. A traditional 17th century village pub - it retains many of its original features. Here you’ll find local beers on tap and home-cooked ‘pub grub’. Also on the outskirts of St Issey is Oliver’s Restaurant at the Pickwick Inn.
