Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The cottage was very charming and cosy, we loved the loft bed. All needed basics were provided, from pots, dishes, silverware and utensils, etc. Washing up liquid, multi surface spray and dishwasher tablets were also provided. A small bottle of milk, tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper were also present. There were plenty of blankets to get cosy and a warm fireplace, there was also an electric heater in case the logs burnt out or someone didn’t want to start a fire. The outdoor decking had a table and benches to eat, and there was a little fire pit with logs around it where we enjoyed some hot chocolate. The property is surrounded by greenery where there is a playground with plenty to do for children, and around it is a farm with sheep, cows, donkeys, llamas and goats, all of which we could pet from above the low fences. The indoor pool is quite warm and offers full privacy and they provided us with towels both for use in the house and at the pool.

Negative: Apart from one very dirty hand towel in the bathroom, everything else was nice and clean.
