Summary: We had a lovely stay in the Corner House. A comfortable, spacious, warm, clean place. Well appointed and with many interesting and attractive furnishings in keeping with its age. Modern kitchen and a very useful basement area. Being right in Uppingham gave us plenty of choice for eating and drinking all within a few minutes walk. Given the town location and opposite a pub we still found our stay nice and quiet. Uppingham is a nice town with attractive buildings and excellent restaurants. We very much enjoyed our stay and walking in the Rutland countryside. Would stay here again.
