Summary: The pub itself is nice, the food at breakfast was great and the staff were very friendly. Unfortunately the room itself let down the experience. There was an awful smell of drains coming out of the bathroom, even with the toilet lid closed and door shut. We left the extractor fan on all night and had a window open most of the time because the smell was so disgusting. The rooms look tired. While everything looked clean in general, I did notice the bathroom had a few spots which looked like they needed replacing or had buildups of limescale-type stuff. The shower wasn't good - very little pressure and even at the highest temperature it wasn't very hot. I'd maybe return for food, but I probably wouldn't stay here again.
