Summary: Received a cooked Breakfast each morning. 1 bacon, 1 sausage, 1 peice of toast, cheese & pot of beans. Pastries & cereal available with milk or yoghurt. Tea (Pg) available with fresh orange but no filter coffee, just coffee bags. Breakfast room was really tiny with 5 tables, it needs to be bigger & may be have some music to break the silence & wispering. Check in on the website states 2pm. We arrived around 12pm & was advised we could leave our bags but the room may not be available till 3pm. The room was located down stairs/cellar next to the kitchen. Ok size but furniture was old and damaged. The place needed a sparkle to make it look modern, bright, fresh and welcoming. No bedside lights, good hairdryer, aircon in rooms but the shower was poor with no power flow to it and the hose kept falling. We had a poor sleep as at around 5:30-6am the staff were dragging furniture above us. This went on for over 1 hour. Staff are really friendly but it was dissappointing to see the staff not wearing hair nets/ aprons when cooking. Guests should not see the kitchen at all, along with a hoover in the reception & linen on the floor which I had to move to go the toilet. WC basen was broke & taped shut. Euston station is a 12min walk Shops are 5min walk, turn right when you leave the hotel. The Palace, Big Ben, Downing St & Harrods are all 1hr walk away. You can walk through St James Park to get to the Palace which is lovely. Take your own water as bottles of water cost £3 & are tiny.
