Positive: Liked it's location - 5 mins walk into town. Quirkyness of an operating brewery. Staff friendly and helpful.

Negative: Our room was right above the main bar area which was very noisy Saturday afternoon/evening. The main door coming in shook the room when it closed so relaxing was an issue. If your out all day not an issue. We had a medium sized aging dog who could not manage the rear steel staircase. Staff let us use an internal one but this came out into the main bar area and we disturbed people coming in that way because it was right next to a table in the pub. Perhaps not ideal for people with dogs or if you are aging or have a mobility issue yourself or have lots of luggage. There is a mews block in the pub which might be better if this is the case. I think the steel staircase should have more anti slip protection because this would be a problem in the rain/freeze.
