Summary: Stayed two nights at The Ship hotel in August. The room ( no 7) was on the first floor. It was beautifully decorated and the ensuite bathroom, although quite tiny, had a large shower and good shelf space for toiletries. The juliet balcony looked up the hill, with a sea view to the right. We had a car parking space included, which was very helpful, as space is at a premium. We had breakfast in the restaurant, the food was good, the fresh orange juice delicious and the staff welcoming. We also had an evening meal . The menu wasn't extensive but the food was tasty and well presented. Overall a great hotel, well maintained, friendly staff and a good location in Leigh on Sea.
