Valley View is a single-storey, two-bedroom cottage located at Primrose Farm near the pretty village of Upottery in East Devon. The warm and welcoming accommodation consists of a hallway, a well-equipped kitchen, two stylish bedrooms (a twin and a double), a modern shower room and a cosy living/dining room with patio doors leading to enclosed decking and steps down to the garden. Relax on the decking and soak up the glorious Otter Valley. There is a carp lake on-site shared with the guests staying at the other properties, guests with a fishing license and barbless hooks are allowed to fish here, and there is also a seating area, perfect for enjoying a family picnic in the summer. The farm also has horses and sheep grazing in the meadows, friendly dogs and cats as well as an abundance of wildlife – watch out for deer and the large variety of birds.
Locally, there are numerous scenic footpaths to explore, and within walking distance are the nearby villages of Rawridge and Uppottery. The Otter Valley is located in the foothills of the stunning Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and it’s also within easy reach of the Jurassic Coast and beaches. Discover the rolling countryside and moorlands, with easy access across the borders of Somerset and Dorset to experience the delights all three regions have to offer. Discover Dorset’s World Heritage Jurassic coastline and Somerset’s famous bustling market towns.
