From great little country pubs, like the one which is literally on your doorstep, to trying your hand at trout or salmon fishing on the River Eden which is within walking distance of the cottage.
Eden Cottage offers easy access to all of the attractions the Cumbrian countryside has to offer including Hadrian’s Wall, the northern part of the Lake District National Park and the Eden Valley. South west Scotland is also easily accessible. Whether you are seeking adventure or peace and quiet this beautiful corner of Cumbria has something for everyone. There is a small rear yard with access for bins. It is a shared yard with another two private properties. When bringing your dog, please keep on lead, as the yard is not secure. Please use front door for access. There are many lovely walks in the area and we do understand how important it is to bring your dog on holiday.
